Pumba loves to be with his people and where the action is. He is still such a puppy! He loves to play, and we are trying to teach him to play gently, but right now he still tends to play rough. Because of this we will only place him in a home with children over the age of eight. He also needs someone who will give him daily walks or plenty of active playtime in a fenced yard. He would love a playful furry friend.
Yes he is as adorable as he appears. Pumba has only been with us a short time but he has adjusted quite nicely in our home. He always looks happy and his tail never seems to stop wagging. He is just the perfect mix of playfulness and cuddly couch companion. He has the most beautiful thick fur and wonderful bushy tail that curls up so cute. His first night here he settled down right away in his crate, which is in our bedroom, and slept through the night without a sound. Don't let his short legs fool you, he can keep up on walks with our two Golden Retrievers and tries his hardest to catch them in the yard. He is still a puppy with a lot of energy and benefits from daily walks and an assortment of chew toys. Even though he acts like he's been here forever, I don't see him being with us long. He's sure to make someone or some family very lucky. That lucky person could be you!
Pumba has been neutered, vet checked, has rabies, vaccines, heartworm tested, microchipped, wormed, flea treated, and will come with a free first vet visit to a participating vet of your choice in the area.
Thanks for adopting from Black Dog, Second Chance! We care about our animals and it shows...
