Otis is now flying solo! His little sister Cheeto found her soul mate and we were able to let her go to her new family without her brother. She is doing just fine in her new place and now we need to find that special person/people for our pal Otis. He's such a happy, fun loving boy that he will slide right in to whatever life brings him. So, if you're looking for a funny faced goofball, Otis is your man. All it takes is an application and you're on your way!

This is our buddy Otis. He is one of a family of three pugs that are currently in our foster care. As you can see from one of the pictures below, all three get along amazingly well (we like to call it the "pug pile"). And they should, since they are family! 5 year old Otis (with the blue tag) and Cheeto's (with the tongue hanging out) father is Frankie and all three are available for adoption through us. Their owner has gone through some difficult family events and is on her way to college and she has nowhere to keep these guys when she goes. Even though it's breaking her heart to re-home them, she knows it's in their best interest and has made the difficult decision to find that special someone to take over caring for them. The only request she has, besides finding a loving, secure, forever home, is that we do not separate Otis and Cheeto. Cheeto is very dependent on her brother and she will do much better if she stays with him. Papa Frankie is available separately and not part of any mandatory package but if anybody is looking for a ready-made pug family, these guys are it!
Otis is a fun loving little guy who wears a smile most days. He is currently being fostered in a home with multiple dogs and gets along with everybody. He's not afraid to stick up for himself but he is never the instigator and always willing to have some fun. Otis crates nicely, actually preferring to curl up in one with his sister so only one crate will be necessary if you choose to use one. Otis is just one of those "easy keepers". He has had an occasional accident in the house, most likely a marking thing because of all the new dogs he's adjusting to, but once he gets back into a steady routine and his new family reminds him how he's supposed to behave, he should do nicely. Otis just never seems to need too much except some food, love and attention. Please consider opening your home to him and his sister Cheeto.
While it is required to adopt Cheeto and Otis together, BDSC is offering a reduced adoption fee if you adopt all three pugs (to the same household, of course).
Otis is neutered, on heartworm meds, had his rabies vaccine, parvo/distmper shot, and comes with a free first vet visit to a participating vet of your choice, along with a free month of pet health insurance.
