Foster Update 8/30

It appears I may have been a bit wrong about Frankie's personality. I really thought he was a bit reserved and aloof when first meeting people but he was nothing like that at our last couple of events and a home visit he went on (where his daughter Cheeto found her soul mate). It turns out this guy is a bit of a confident charmer! He just has no problem coming in and acting as if he'd been there his whole life. And, bring out the treats and a couple of ear scratches, he's all yours! He's quite a little character and such a sweetheart anybody could fall in love with him. This guy is well worth meeting but I warn you, he's going to steal your heart.

Original Post:
Meet our new friend Frankie. This guy comes to us because his Mom has been through some tough family issues and is on her way to college and just doesn't have the means to take care of Frankie and his two offspring. Frankie, Cheeto and Otis are being fostered together and make quite the cute little group (as you can see from the dog pile picture). While Frankie is the senior of the three, he certainly doesn't show it. He spends his days hanging out with a variety of other dogs and has had no issues with any of them. He sleeps very nicely in his crate and appears to be house trained with the exception of a couple minor accidents. It does take this guy a little time to warm up to you and he can even seem a bit aloof at first but once he becomes your buddy he is a charmer and a couch potato.

While Cheeto and Otis will be adopted together, Frankies human mom feels he is strong enough to handle being adopted out alone. Of course, if you got the chance to see how terrific they are together, you might just decide to take them all!

While it is required to adopt Cheeto and Otis together, BDSC is offering a reduced adoption fee if you adopt all three pugs (to the same household, of course).

Frankie is neutered, on heartworm meds, had his rabies vaccine, parvo/distmper shot, and comes with a free first vet visit to a participating vet of your choice, along with a free month of pet health insurance.
