Animal Success Stories
If you adopted a dog or cat from BDSC and would like your story and picture on this page, please send us an update and a photograph and we'll be happy to post it! (We just love the happy tails! It's what keeps us going that extra mile on that beach!)

Waiting list
Gump has settled in here very quickly. We love him and are sooooo glad to have him home. I have a ton of pics, and thought I'd send you some. He doesn't like that the cats are staying in Jordan's room and he loves his Kong with peanut butter in it;...you see all of this in the pics! Thanks again!
(Gump was a local owner surrender, weighing in at 110 pounds, with some growing to do! He's a big, goofy 10 month old pup!)
Chance
Hi! I adopted Chance (now named Murphy) about a year and a half ago. I
though you would like to know how he's doing!
He is just so comfortable here (as you can see in the pictures) and is
pretty darn excited to have the run of the house. What I love more than
anything is that he all warm and cozy in my house instead of being out in
the cold! He loves the double backyard and has such a good time romping
with the neighbors cats! Thank you so much for everything you did for Murph
and all the other dogs you save. You're such a blessing!
Jill :)
Bess
Hi.
We had noticed that you didn't have a picture of Bess now known as Bailey in your sucess stories. Please see attached.
Bailey had just celebrated her 2nd birthday last week. She weighs in at 102.5 lbs and is loving life. Thank you for bringing her into our lives!
Sincerely,
Keri and Kevin O'Neill
Tahlia
Thought you would like an update on Trixie...I have attached a picture of her most
recent grooming! She is doing wonderfully, and we love and adore her. Trixie LOVES
running through the leaves in the backyard, and chasing the squirrels!
Thanks,
Kim
Mary Jane
My husband and I adopted Mary Jane (now
known as Lucy) in March of this year. We wanted to write to give you
an update.
Lucy has done exceptionally well in our home (starting from day 1). Our
other dog Benny, a Boston Terrier, and her were instant best friends!
Lucy now joins her brother at doggie daycare where she has made other
doggie friends. She especially LOVES to go on walks, car rides and curl
up on the couch. She has been such a great addition to our family, we
can't imagine life without her.
Attached are a few pictures we have taken.
Thank you so much for sending Lucy to us and thank you for everything
you do!
