Kans for Karly

Kans for Karly began when BDSC took in a tiny puppy from the City of Buffalo Animal Shelter when she wasn't feeling well. We immediately got her to the Orchard Park Emergency Clinic where she was diagnosed with the deadly virus Parvo. She stayed in the clinic for five grouling days, fighting for her life. She survived! But she also racked up quite a vet bill for our rescue while she was there, and depleted our account. We decided to have a bi-annual fundraiser on her behalf called Kans for Karly- to raise money for other needy dogs in our rescue, who wouldn't stand a fighting chance otherwise.

Thank you for your support. Without it, we couldn't save as many as we do.

Please continue to save your bottles and cans throughout the year and donate them to our rescue every April and October. The cans and bottles really add up and help dogs and puppies like Karly to survive when they otherwise wouldn't.
